A Nigerian bride known as Chioma has  been trending on social media after wearing a customise Ankara gown on her white wedding instead of the normal white one normally wore

She expressed satisfaction and said she didn't tell anyone about her plan to wear an Ankara Wedding  Gown for fear of been advice to change her mind 

The beautiful dress was made by her friends and colleagues she said.

She wrote:

“Initially, I thought she would laugh at the idea of an Ankara wedding dress but she loved the idea and made sure I looked great”.

“I didn’t bother to tell anyone about it. It wasn’t even up for debate . I just told my friends not to wear ankara. I am sure if I had mentioned it to people, they would have tried to discourage me because human preferences are different.
