Argentina has been removed as Copa America host, less than 2-weeks before the kick off of the competition due to Covid-19 index cases rise

The football tournament for the American continent is to participated by 10 countries from the region this 2021 and was supposed to be hosted by Argentina and Colombia between June 13 and 10 July.

This is the first time the soccer event will be hosted by two countries in 105-years 

Colombia has been axed as host since May, following an agitation by the country's citizens asking for social and economic change in the country's and now Argentina has been delisted due to high risk of Covid-19 wave in recent weeks by CONMEBOL the governing body of the tournament
