The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reportedly bombed wedding guest mistakenly in Argida village of Niger State, killing two people and leaving several injured 

According to reports the NAF men targeted a bandit hideout along the axis, the Alpha jet was supposed to hit the bad element in Genu town mistakenly dropped a bomb on the ceremonial guests 

The Alpha jet shuttled from Katsina State to Argida village in Niger State after reports from intel told the NAF men about the operation of bandits in the area before carrying out the airstrike.

The operation which is declared successful by NAF Director of Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet who also said he wasn't aware of the civilian casualties.

He insisted that the NAF men intercepted the bandits who were trying  to attack Genu area  after they got info through their intelligence network he told PRNigeria news men.

An eyewitness account in Argida village, said two wedding guests lost their lives and several other got injured as a result of the airstrike.
