A Kano-based Nigerian lady, identified as Saadat Aliyu has developed a mobile application called  "Helpio App"  to help sexually abused persons report rape cases 

Miss  Saadat Aliyu is a  human activist, founder of Shamrock Innovations, Women & Youth-Centric Tech Innovation Hub based in Kano.

According to Channels TV Saadat said in a interview that, the App is a bilingual (English and Hausa)and was launched on google Playstore August 6, 2020

She narrated that she learnt IT skills from her brother when she was in junior secondary school class and later mattered App developing skill on her own

The Kano-Lady hinted that her next is fintech-oriented project which is going to be launched soon, and she aims to keeping impacting the society positively, advocating and innovating solutions for man kind

For the time being some NGO's like Orphans and Less privileged (ISSOL) and Equity Destitute, Child Right and Welfare initiative (EDCRAWI) have signed up on Helpio App
