Queen Elizabeth to be removed as Barbados head of state in November 2021

 Antigua and Barbuda "The Barbados Government "  has revealed it plan to lawfully  remove Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state this year

According to a statement released last year by Barbadian authorities all the necessary processions concerning Queen Elizabeth II removal from power will be completed in November 2021 according Prime Minister Mia Mottley.

He added that Barbadians wanted a Barbadian head of state and the time has come for them to fully move on and leave the colonial past behind 

Barbados will celebrate her 55th independence anniversary from "Great Britain" in November this year look to also change the ruling powers from royal hands  to political  power 

The statement also included that "Barbados citizens are confidence in who they are and what we are capable of achieving," .

Reacting to the announcement, Buckingham Palace said that it was a matter for the government and people of Barbados.

BBC reported that the idea "was not out of the blue" and "has been made public several many times."
