One out of the kidnapped  students of  Greenfield University Afaka in Kaduna State regains freedom 

According to Channel TV on the 4th of May 2021, a students named Lauritta Attahiru was released by they bandits after several weeks of staying in captivity 

The mother of Lauritta Attahiru refused to share with the correspondent what she did that made the bandits free her ward as of the time of filing this report

The story remains unverified by government authorities and security operatives 

Meanwhile parents and other concerned Nigerians staged a Protest at National Assembly Complex Abuja over the missing student
